“Sole/Soul” began as a spec commercial—a dynamic piece of footage originally shot to showcase running gear. But at IWR Studio, we saw an opportunity to push the boundaries of what AI can do for narrative content. By replacing the human character with a sleek android, we transformed a straightforward product piece into a hybrid AI production that explores the intersection of humanity and technology.
The Evolution
Using AI-driven character replacement and digital enhancement techniques, we reimagined the entire aesthetic. From motion capture integration to seamlessly integrating the android into the original footage, every frame was elevated to create a cinematic experience that feels futuristic and grounded at the same time.
